Disabling Flow default storage (Using the API)

Once you have your own external store up and running, if you like, you can disable the Flow default storage. By doing this, you will have your runtime data in your external store only.

Here is how you can disable persistence in the Flow internal storage:

  1. Click API.

This opens the in-built Flow API editor.
  2. Copy-paste api/admin/1/tenant in the address bar and click GET.

This will populate the Response column with your tenant information as JSON.
  3. Copy the JSON and paste it in the Request column.
  4. Change the value of enableReplication under externalStorageSettings to false from true.
  5. Click POST.
