You can see and edit the metadata of an element from the canvas itself, without going to the API tab in the Drawing Tool. You can do this by pressing shift and left-clicking on the element you want to update.
Let’s say you want to see the metadata of the Records page in this flow:
- Press Shift and left-click on the element (Pages, in this example). This opens the Edit Metadata box.
- Edit the metadata and click Save. You will get the alert: Map Element saved successfully.
If you do not want to make any changes click Close.
|Note: If you have unsaved changes in the canvas, editing the metadata will override those changes.|
|ManyWho Pro Tip: Press Ctrl + H to pull up a Help menu with a list of convenient keyboard shortcuts on the canvas.|
If you need to take a closer look, click on the images to enlarge them. Have a question? Click the Help button on the bottom right-hand corner of this page to ask.
