Embedding the Flow HTML5 player

We can embed the HTML5 player used in Flow in existing pages without using inline frames (iframe). The player’s CSS code is namespaced to the .mw-bs class, so it will not clash with any existing styles on the page.

We can embed the player by copy-pasting the following HTML code in a page:

The initialization of the flow requires a few parameters, which by default are fetched from the url query string.

  • Starting the latest activated version of a flow: tenant-id, flow-id
  • Starting a specific version of a flow: tenant-id, flow-id, flow-version-id
  • Joining a flow: tenant-id, join uri
