Installing the ManyWho Identity Service

ManyWho applications need an identity service (like Salesforce or Box) that is used to authenticate access to a flow (with a username/password, token, etc.) and authorize access to parts of a flow (permissions for a swimlane, flow, etc.).

Your ManyWho tenant comes with the ManyWho Identity Service, which you can use to build public apps or apps that do not need third-party authentication.

You will need to install the service in your subtenants.

Here is how to do it:

  1. Click Services.
  2. Click Install Service.

This opens the Services>New Service screen.
  3. Copy-paste ManyWho Identity Service in the Name field.

  4. Copy-paste the URL https://flow.manywho.com/plugins/manywho/api/identity/1 in the URL for the service field. Make sure there are no white spaces.
  5. If the service you are using requires authentication, enter the username and password for the service in the respective fields. The fields are populated with your ManyWho username and password. The ManyWho Identity Service does not require authentication – let us go ahead and remove those fields.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Click Continue again.

The ManyWho Identity Service is now installed and ready to be used.

Happy building!
