If we have a tenant with many objects and multiple flows, there is an easy way to track which object is used in which flow.
This is handy information indeed. If an object is in use – it creates dependencies – which means we will not be able to delete the object from the tenant, without removing the dependencies first. We can look up object dependencies by opening the object configurations.
Here is how:
- Click Values to open the Values tab.
This lists all the values in your tenant.
- Find the object you are looking for, and click the edit icon. Let’s say we want to look at the Case object.
This opens the configuration screen for the object, which lists its dependencies. You can see the flow names and IDs of the flows where the objects is currently being used, along with a list of page layouts which references the object.
Check out the glossary for a definition of terms and key concepts that appear in the Boomi Flow website, drawing tool, technical documentation, blogs, and marketing communications.
