Here is a quick look at the Boomi Flow Salesforce service – Service URL, features, configuration, actions, and types.

Features
  1. Identity
  2. Social
  3. Messages
  4. Database

Configuration checklist
  1. AuthenticationUrl – The URL for the Salesforce Developer edition is: https://login.salesforce.com. You can find more information on authentication URLs here.
  2. Username – This is your Salesforce username. Example – [email protected]
  3. Password – This is your Salesforce password.
  4. ChatterBaseUrl – You can find your Chatter base URL by logging into Salesforce, and looking at the URL in the browser. The Chatter base URL default value should be in the format of https://xxxx.salesforce.com. For example, if you have an URL:  https://na30.salesforce.com/etc./etc., the Chatter base URL will be: https://na30.salesforce.com.
  5. AdminEmail – This will be the admin email used by Salesforce in your organization.
  6. Consumer Secret – You can find your API Consumer Secret in Salesforce > ManyWho (connected app) > API (Enable OAuth Settings).
  7. Consumer Key – You can find your API Consumer Key in Salesforce> Apps> Connected Apps> ManyWho> API (Enable OAuth Settings).
  8. Authentication Strategy – If you change the value storing the authentication strategy of the Salesforce service configuration in your tenant to ‘SuperUser’, your Salesforce flows will not require any additional login to access Salesforce data – credentials stored in the service configuration will be enough for authentication.

Actions
  1. Create task – This action creates a new task in salesforce.com.
  2. Notify users – This action notifies the users in the authorization context of the flow or group.
  3. Send Task Email – This action sends an email to all users in the authorization context with buttons for each outcome.
  4. Create A Task – This action creates a task in salesforce that is not tied to async.
  5. Create A Calendar Event – This action creates a calendar event in salesforce that is not tied to async.
